Authentic. Subtle. Relaxed. Introducing Calvin Klein Jeans for Spring 2009

Modern, cool lines executed in light fabrics for a sporty feel. Free-spirited influences with hand-crafted details and treatments achieve a positive, textural finish.

Fabrics. Sensual and modern. Denim is either battered or blasted and sand-washed, with randomly placed repairs, for a worn-in look. Both themes for men and women utilize light, organic materials with a soft touch. Consider washed cotton/silks, nylons, linen cottons, and ramiès for shirts, all offered in a dark palette of colors.

Fits. Measured proportions for women, feature either a skinny slim leg, a wide leg, a trumpet leg, or a short leg, while for men, the focus is on a straight and short leg.

Colors. A very fresh color palette which ranges from white tonalities of sand blasted denim which are contrasted to vintage gabardines and washed shades of light and dark blues.

Details. Side strips, loops and spangled labels with selvedge-edges finished with the brand logo. In honor of Calvin Klein Jeans’ 30th anniversary, the original Omega stitching completes the now iconic back pocket. The t shirt category offers new finishing techniques for a softer, worn-in feel.

Key looks
Women

A mix of individual proportions. Close-fitting jersey tops, and waist coats create sexy silhouettes while measured volume dresses create contrast. Tops and dresses are light, feminine, and sensual. Iconic denim wash are key with variations in length and fit. Women’s jeans are loose, over-stitched, and ripped, in a slim or trumpet leg and then layered with feminine tops for a relaxed look.

MenA play of mixed proportions. Pants are slender and straight in a variety of tones and washes for a self-repaired look. The quintessential logo t-shirt paired with the ultimate worn-in classic denim jean, layered with a jacket or vest for a fitted yet deconstructed look.
