Natural. Subtle. Cool. Introducing Calvin Klein Jeans for Spring 2008

Pure, simple American lines executed in lighter materials for a softer feel and luxurious metallic fabrics for a cool touch.

Fabrics. Natural and organic, or modern and iridescent. Slightly distressed, washed, bleached denim for an understated, relaxed look contrasted with structured, garment-dyed cottons with solid stitching for a more tailored look.  Light and reflective metallic touches on nylon, washed cotton, and denim, lend an urban accent.

Fits. A play on proportions. A skinny or wide-leg for women; slouchy with a skinny ankle for men.  This season is all about the lengths for men: capris, walking shorts, and casually rolled up pants are all key. 

Colors. Shades of watery, washed blues ranging very palest steel to deep indigo complemented with mineral tones of sand, stone, pearl, and pepper gray, anthracite, and black. White is fundamental.  Powerful hits of cherry blossom pink and tulip red for women, and pops of midnight blue and leaf green for men.

Details. Unique signature back-pockets remain key. Delicate stitching on pockets enriches the lightly distressed look. For women, flirty floral prints on natural cottons or more refined silk georgette. The new bomber jacket for men and women, in nylon or metallic.

Key looks
Women 

More sensual, fluid volumes on top counterbalance skinny denim silhouettes. Washed, boot-leg, pale blue and white denim for a relaxed look. Ethereal, airy, and often transparent tops, and gauzy, transparent knits comprised of fine organic yarns. Dresses and skirts come in light and innovative materials, some trimmed in iridescent satin. Jersey, fluid and draped for new dress and jacket silhouettes.

Men
Soft and distressed, but still luxurious. Variations in length are key, with cropped jeans and shorts for a city feel. Printed shirts and garment-dyed t shirts paired with jeans; slouchy on top and skinny at the bottom, with the ankle exposed. Sweatshirts are garment dyed and paired with plain and striped cotton knitwear, or heavier jackets.
