Introducing men’s and women’s Calvin Klein Jeans for Fall 2009.

Fits: The new premium denim Body line is offered with a skinny leg for women, and a classic straight-leg cut, sexy fit for men. Through seaming and construction, denim is engineered to enhance the physique. Focus is on modern utility and comfort, and paring down of details for a more body conscious look. Pin tucked and architecturally folded pleats add feminine details and softness to tops and dresses. Jackets and denims layered in different fabric and customized with special washings are new this season for women and men.

Fabrics: Clean and sophisticated. Introducing the new sensual, stretch Body jean for a smooth refined look. Offered in dark rich tones and rinses, inspired by minerals, copper and platinum. Protective and technical washed materials like nylon lend a clean, modern silhouette to outerwear. Tops in compressed wools, cotton twills, washed satins, and knit jerseys for women; while over washed plaids dominate for men. Geometric textured cable sweaters updated in soft merino.

Color: This season’s palette consists of intense and moody shades of black, anthracite, grey, and indigo. Accent colors are saturated hues of red, purple, plum, and berry. Denim washes come in deep tones ranging from black to deep indigo, and grey.

Key Looks: Layering is key. For women, layer a tank under a boyfriend sweater, fit to the body, skinny denim jean or mini pleated skirt. For men, layer a washed plaid shirt under the textured cable sweater, and the protective nylon jacket for a fresh, yet utilitarian look.

Engineered and modern, yet sexy. Introducing Calvin Klein Jeans Body for Fall 2009.

Fits. Pitched, technological stretch contoured waistband for reduced gapping, sits slightly lower on hips and tilts forward for a sculpted and body defining fit. Straight leg for men, classic skinny cut for women designed for a lean and slim silhouette. Strategically angled engineered back pockets, with inverse curved back yoke for a contoured fit. Body slimming forward busted side seam to elongate the body and ergonomic leg opening for any heel height.

Details. Rear pocket treatments with slightly modified new Omega stitching and metallic details, double layer pocket top, and bounded interior seams for stability. Bronze and copper can be found in the tone rivets for added reinforcement. Printed logo on the inside waistband and pocketing, with stitch through logo waistband patch on back, adding a novel touch. Men’s jeans offered in button or zipper with body-defining fit with enhanced front fly profile. Women’s offered in button with body-defining fit for a flattering rear shape. Suggested retail price for men’s and women’s is $79.50.

Fabrics. Clean denim in medium to dark mineral rinses, for a smooth, slimmer, refined look.

Color. Two washes for women are offered for fall in; copper rinse and rusted iron; for holiday offered in destructed ore and steel for men offered in two washes; copper rinse and destructed ore, and steel for holiday.
